Course Description

The Video Editing with DaVinci Resolve Beginners Course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of video editing using the DaVinci Resolve software. The course will cover topics such as understanding the interface, importing media, basic editing techniques, adding transitions and effects, audio editing, and exporting the final video. Students will also learn how to color grade their footage to achieve a professional look. The course is ideal for beginners who have no prior experience with video editing or the DaVinci Resolve software.

Training Ouctcomes (Including Certification)

• Understanding the basics of video editing: Students will learn the fundamental concepts and terminology of video editing, including working with timelines, creating and trimming clips, and using transitions and effects.
• Familiarity with the Da Vinci Resolve interface: Students will become familiar with the layout and tools of the Da Vinci Resolve editing software, including the Media, Edit, and Cut pages.
• Technical skills in video editing: Students will learn how to import, organize, and manage media files, apply color correction and grading, and export edited videos in different formats and resolutions.
• Creative skills in video storytelling: Students will develop creative skills in telling stories through video editing, including choosing the right footage, sequencing shots, and creating visual effects that enhance the narrative.
